I have counseled individuals, families, and couples for over forty-five years. I assist clients with issues that include depression, anxiety, family communication, career choices, and the stress of physical illness. Using Psychodynamic, client-centered, and Jungian methods, I tailor counseling to the needs of clients. I favor approaches that respect innate creativity, core values, and interdependence. In addition to talking, other modalities may include relaxation and imagery (sometimes called self-hypnosis), journaling, and the use of art. As a former priest, I bring to my practice the conviction that problems are ultimately resolved by finding meaning and purpose. I have been married for almost 50 years, have two children, and two grandchildren.
Our offices are in a two-story brick house on a quiet tree-lined street in Houston’s Museum District. We would be delighted to welcome you to this peaceful and tranquil environment.
